So, take a peek behind the scenes at what a typical adventure with HWP is like!

1. Say hello
(10+ months before your wedding)

Before we start daydreaming together about the breathtaking wedding day you’re planning, all you have to do is get in touch! Tell me a little bit about yourself, your upcoming wedding day, and the date you’ve chosen to say “I do.” Remember, wedding dates are limited, especially during those beautiful spring and fall months, so don’t wait to get in touch or sadly your date may already have been claimed.
2. Dive into the details
(10+ months before your wedding)

Immediately after I hear from you, I’ll make sure your date is open. If it is, hurray! I’ll shower you in information about my wedding photography collections and the wedding experience I offer. Then, we will set a date to chat one-on-one.
3. Grab a latte
(10+ months before your wedding)

Gather up aaaaall your questions and bring them with you to the nearest coffee shop (or just your cozy couch for a Skype call), because I can’t wait to break it all down! This is a chance for us to get to know each other a little bit and make sure we are a perfect fit for your wedding day. I’ll be ready with a bridal guide, preferred vendor list, sample wedding and engagement album, and an explanation of all things Hannah Way Photography. If, after our chat, you’re excited about the magic we can make together, we will head off to the next step in the journey...
4. Make it official
(10+ months before your wedding)

With a contract signature and paid deposit, I’ll Sharpie your date onto my calendar. And just like that, you officially have a wedding photographer!
5. Plan your big day
(9-10 months before your wedding)

You don’t have to stress over planning a smoothly flowing wedding day alone because I’m going to walk you through the entire process! With years of experience, I can help you craft a timeline that won’t feel rushed and will ensure you have the best possible lighting for your photos.
6. Document your engagement
(8-9 months before your wedding)

Now, the fun really begins, as we start planning your engagement session in plenty of time to prepare your save the dates! I’ll even send you a guide to help you choose the perfect outfits and help you find your dream location. Then, we get to have a blast together telling your love story! Just imagine it as a fun date with a photographer third wheel.
7. Play dress up
(1-2 months before your wedding)

If you’ve booked a bridal session, we will begin planning it as soon as your gown arrives! Once again, I’ll flood your inbox with tips on how to prepare for the best possible session. Then, with your test hair and makeup looking beautiful, we take those extra portraits we might not have time to document on your wedding day. And why not make a girls’ day of it by bringing your mom, best friend, or bridesmaid along for the fun!
8. The final countdown
(1 month before your wedding)

As the big day approaches, I want to make sure you’re feeling prepared, calm (well, as calm as a bride can be before her wedding day, at least), and confident! So, I’ll be in touch with some final tips and a wedding questionnaire, ensuring we are both ready to go!
9. Celebrate!
Finally, the day you’ve been dreaming of and planning for has arrived! And because of all of the preparation we’ve done on the journey to your wedding day, you’ll be able to fully enjoy every second, confident that I’m going to catch all the most important moments and fill your gallery with images you’ll treasure forever.
10. Sneak a peek
(2-3 days after your wedding)

Before the flowers in your bridal bouquet have even begun to wilt, you’ll receive a sneak peek gallery in your inbox! Snuggled up with your brand new husband, you’ll be able to see your magical wedding day through my eyes, and fall in love with each other all over again.
11. Relive your wedding day
(6-8 weeks after your wedding)

And just when the memories of your wedding are growing a little fuzzy around the edges, your full gallery will arrive to bring them back into focus! Laugh together over the images of Uncle Jim cutting up on the dance floor and brush away tears over the images of your emotional vows. From now on, you’ll have hundreds and hundreds of images to help you journey back in time to the best day of your lives.

frequently asked questions

Can I customize a wedding collection?
Of course! I want to make sure you have the wedding photography of your dreams, and if that means we need to add extra time, another photographer, additional products, or even extra photo sessions, we can!
Do you travel?
Heck yes! I already have my bags half-packed! I jump at any chance to travel for weddings, so if you’re planning a destination wedding, let’s chat! There are additional fees for travel outside of the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex, and we can discuss those as we prepare your customized coverage collection.
When will I get to see my photos?
Just a day or two after your wedding day, a sneak peek will be waiting for you in your email inbox! Then, you can expect to receive your full gallery within 6-8 weeks.
How many images can I expect to see in my wedding gallery?
I aim to include 50-100 images for each hour I photograph.
What do you mean when you say "online gallery?"
When your full gallery is ready, I’ll email you a link to a secure website that contains all of your images. From there, you can easily share, download, or print your favorite photos!
Am I allowed to print my images?
Definitely! I offer prints and albums, but if you’d like to print them on your own, I can recommend some of my favorites places for high-quality prints.
This all sounds amazing! So, how can I book you for my wedding day?
First, we need to make sure your date is open, so get in touch ASAP before it gets snatched up! From there, we will meet to chat about specifics, and I’ll send you a contract and retainer invoice. The retainer is 25% of the full cost of your collection, with the remaining 75% due 30 days before your wedding. Once the contract is signed and the retainer is paid, I’m officially your photographer!
